Roomwright Privacy Policy

Roomwright ("the app") helps tradespeople measure rooms and plan material cuts. This policy explains what data the app handles.
What we collect
- Account details. Email address (and name, if you sign in with Apple), used only to sign you in and back up your rooms.
- Room measurements. Wall lengths, room dimensions and your manual corrections, saved so you can revisit your scans. Stored on your device and, when signed in, in our database (Supabase, EU — London region).
- Subscription status. When you buy Roomwright Pro, the app stores which subscription you hold and when it renews or expires. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your card details.
- Nothing else. No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no location, no contacts.
Camera
The camera (and on iPhone Pro models, the LiDAR scanner) is used only while you scan a room, to measure it on-device. Camera imagery never leaves your phone — only the resulting measurements (numbers) are saved.
Payments & subscriptions
Roomwright Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those stores process the payment and share with us only the receipt/identifiers needed to confirm your entitlement (validated on our server). Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Merchant prices
The app shows indicative prices for building materials at local merchants (Huws Gray, Jewson, CL Jones). These are our own catalog entries, not live merchant data; no data about you is shared with merchants.
Your rights
- Delete a room: swipe/long-press it in the app — this deletes it from the backup too.
- Delete your account and all data: in the app, open the account menu on the home screen and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your account, scans and subscription record from our servers immediately. (Cancel the subscription itself in the App Store / Google Play to stop future billing.)
- Data export: email us and we'll send your data in JSON.
Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)
We process account and scan data to provide the service you signed up for (contract). Data is retained until you delete it or your account.
